There are many variations for this recipe depending upon style of preparation. Mughlai paneer, shahi paneer, matar paneer are some of the variations, but this recipe is the tastier and also easy to prepare than any other which requires more time. In this recipe you can also add boiled matar or peas to it to make it matar paneer korma but I personally suggest you to enjoy the actual recipe and let me tell you won’t regret it. You can also roast the paneer little bit before adding it to the curry but it will definitely alter the taste. Some people also add haldi or turmeric to this curry but I prefer it without it.

- add curd after turning off the heat and cooling the mixture little bit otherwise it can curdle.

paneer korma
Ingredients
- 2 large onion
- 2 green chilli
- 1 inch ginger
- 8-10 cashews
- 8-10 peppercorns
- 2 cardamom
- 3 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1 cup yogurt
- 2 tsp kasuri methi
- 250 grams paneer
Instructions
- To prepare paneer korma add onion, green chilli, ginger, cashews, peppercorns, cardamom, in a container
- boil for 10 minutes on medium heat
- strain it and let it cool
- add it to a blender and add little remaining water
- blend it smooth
- add oil and cumin seeds in a pan
- fry it for few seconds
- add the prepared paste
- cook for 6 minutes on medium heat
- add salt, coriander powder and garam masala and mix it well
- turn off the heat and add yogurt
- mix it , add curd in batches
- turn on the heat
- add kasuri methi and mix it well
- add paneer and mix it well
