Eggless Chocolate brownie –
Eggless chocolate brownie or chocolate fudge brownie is a dessert which is square in shape, baked, chocolate cake. Basically Brownies are originated from United States, they comes in variety of forms like fudgy or cakey. Sometimes they also include nuts and fruits inside a chocolate brownie to make it tastier. Today I am going to share my this delicious fudgy eggless chocolate brownie recipe with detailed instructions and step-by-step with photos.
History of brownies come from a socialite named Bertha Palmer whose husband owned a hotel called Palmer House Hotel in Chicago. The brownies were made in order to include in boxed lunches as requested by her for ladies attending Chicago World’s columbian exposition.
The main ingredients used to prepare this eggless chocolate brownie recipe are, chocolate, sugar, curd and other ingredients. This chocolate brownie is very easy recipe which can be prepared in an hour.You can also add few dry-fruits or nuts for more healthier and tastier version.
Shelf life-
- If kept in refrigerator, consume within a week.
Important tips-
- Never add baking powder or baking soda in chocolate brownies as it will make it like a cake.
- You can also use 3 eggs in place of curd or yogurt to make these fudgy chocolate brownies.
- I have used chocolate bar in this chocolate brownie recipe but you can also use chocolate chips in place of that.

Chocolate brownie
Ingredients
- water
- 150 gms dark baking chocolate
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 2 tsp vanilla essence
- 3/4 cup yogurt
- 3/4 cup maida/flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- First boil the water in a container and place a glass bowl above it
- Add chocolate and unsalted butter and mix it well
- keep mixing until everything is dissolved and no lumps were formed
- keep it separately, add sugar and mix it well
- now add cocoa powder, vanilla essence and again mix it
- add yogurt and mix it well
- now place a sifter above the bowl and add flour and salt and sift it
- now again mix it well and transfer it to a square baking tray
- tap the tray to remove air bubbles
- now bake it at 180°C/356°F for 25-30 minutes
- let it cool
- now cut it in equal sizes
- your fudgy brownie is ready.
