Apple burfi or apple barfi recipe –
Apple burfi is an Indian dessert made of grated apple and coconut. It is very healthy and easy to prepare. This simple apple burfi recipe is perfect for your family during festivals. Today I am sharing my apple barfi recipe with detailed instructions and step-by-step with photos.
During this Ganesh Chaturthi, my whole family was invited as we celebrated together in our home and I ran out of sweets for pooja and even for guests. Suddenly I remembered this delicious apple burfi recipe and I prepared it. It came out to be very delicious and juicy. every one in my home was praising me for this recipe.
Main ingredients used to prepare this apple barfi recipe are apple, grated coconut, sugar and few other ingredients. It is high in protein and vitamins which are good for health. If you want more healthier version try reducing the quantity of sugar used in preparing this recipe.
Shelf life-
You can keep it for a week if kept in refrigerator.

Apple Burfi
Ingredients
- 2 apple
- 1 tsp ghee
- 2 cups fresh grated coconut
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
- pistachio
Instructions
- Take two apple, wash them properly and peel them
- grate it roughly and keep it
- now add ghee, grated coconut, sugar and mix it well
- cook it on medium heat until sugar is dissolved
- now add the grated apple and mix well
- cook it on medium heat for 15 minutes until it becomes dry
- now add cardamom powder and mix it well
- transfer the cooked mixture to a greased container and make it smooth
- add the pistachio, press a little and refrigerate it for 2 hours
- Now take out and cut it in equal sized pieces
- your apple burfi is ready
