Churros are the traditional snack of Spain and Portugal. These are thin or thick knotted or long crispy fried dough which are generally dipped in chocolate and eaten for breakfast or as snack. Today I am sharing my this crunchy delicious churros recipe with detailed step-by-step instructions with photos.
Main ingredients used to prepare this churros are flour/maida, sugar and butter and also egg is added to increase the taste and crispiness of it. churros are prisms in shape and curled or straight.
This crunchy delicious churro recipe is perfect for your snack though it may be consumed for breakfast from where it is originated but I personally prefer this for evening or mid afternoon snack. You can enjoy it with chocolate or any other dip according to your choice. Once I prepared this crunchy churro during a kitty-party in my home and everyone liked it. Through out the party we discussed about this delicious recipe and everyone was very interested in it.
Shelf life-
You can keep the prepared churros in an air tight container for 3-4 days.

Important points-
- mix the flour properly so that no lumps or knots are formed.
- do not deep fry it , just fry until it turns golden brown

Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1 cup flour/maida
- 3 eggs
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 3 tbsp cinnamon
Instructions
- add water, brown sugar, salt and butter in a pan
- mix t well until it dissolves
- now let it boil
- add vanilla essence and flour/maida to it
- mix continuously so that no lumps formed
- when it becomes soft turn off the heat
- transfer it to a bowl
- add one egg and mix it well
- again add one more egg and mix it well and repeat the process one more time.
- now take a conical shaped cover with churro shaped tip end.
- fill it with the paste
- drop it in the hot oil
- fry until it turns golden brown.
- now take a plate and add sugar and cinnamon powder and mix it well
- roll it in sugar and cinnamon mixture
- your churros are ready to eat, enjoy it with chocolate dip.
