peanut masala
Servings: 2 people
Ingredients
- 2 cups peanuts
- 1/2 tsp asafoetida/hing
- 2 tsp chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/3 tsp cumin powder
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon powder
- 1/2 tsp dry ginger
- 1 tsp citric acid
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp oil
- 1/2 cup gram flour
- 3 tbsp rice flour
- water
- 1/2 tsp soda
Instructions
- To prepare crunchy masala peanuts first, add peanuts, asafoetida, chilli powder, black pepper, cumin powder, cinnamon powder, dry ginger, citric acid, salt and oil in a bowl
- mix it well
- now add gram flour, rice flour and water and mix it well
- add soda and add more water if required and mix and coat it well
- drop one by one into oil on low medium heat
- fry until it turns golden brown on low heat
- crunchy peanut masala is ready
