Oats Uttapam is very very healthy recipe. And it’s very easy to make. You feel so full for very long time since its full of fibres. In this recipe I added onions, carrots and coriander leaves. But you can definitely add any veggie of your choice. I sometimes add beetroot and cabbage as well. It’s served with coconut chutney, green chutney, tomato ketchup or pickles.

Oats Uttapam
Servings: 2 people
Ingredients
- 2 cups oats
- 1 cup curd
- 1 tsp salt
- water as required
- 1 cup rice flour
- 1 tbsp ginger
- 1 green chilli
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp oil
- onion, carrot, coriander handful
Instructions
- To prepare oats uttapam, First take oats in a blenderand blend it
- add it to a bowl and add curd, salt and water
- mix it well
- add water in batches and mix it to thick consistancy
- leave it for an hour
- now transfer it to a bowl and add water ans mix it
- add rice flour, mix it and make it smooth
- add ginger, green chilli and black pepper and mix it
- add salt and mix it well
- now apply oil on the pan
- add the prepared batter on the hot pan
- sprinkle some onions, carrot and coriander leaves
- apply oil and cover it for a minute
- flip it and again cook for a minute
- healthy oats uttapam is ready
