Palak twisters recipe or palak namak pare is an Indian snack, they are also known as palak namakpare or palak mathri is a unique snack recipe prepared using spinach/palak. Palak twisters is known as palak twisters because the dough is flipped and twisted to give a unique shape.
Crispy palak mathri is quick time snack for your friends and family which can be prepared easily. The main ingredients used for making palak twisters recipe are palak, maida/flour, it has also got very unique taste which will be loved by anyone whoever tastes it.
For this crispy palak namakpare the name palak twisters was suggested by husband Ankur when i was confused a lot about naming this snack. after that i could not find any better name as the twisters suited it a lot due to its shape too.

Shelf life of palak twisters-
- can be kept for 15days if kept in air tight container.
Important point-
- dough should not be very soft or very hard
- you should fry palak twisters on very high heat
- do not add water while kneading as water from the spinach is more than enough
- you can also make palak twisters more healthier by replacing maida/all purpose flour with wheat flour/multigrain flour.

Ingredients
- 200 grams spinach
- 2 cups flour/maida
- 4 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp fennel seeds/kalonji
- 2 tsp salt
Instructions
- take 200 grams of spinach/palak
- blend it smooth with out adding water
- now take maida, oil, fennel seeds and salt in a bowl
- mix it well
- add the palak puree to it
- knead a soft dough, don not add any water
- cover it for 15 minutes
- now knead a little
- take a small portion and roll it
- roll it thin
- make slits
- take one end and join both ends
- press and seal both ends
- take one end and flip it from the centre
- drop it in hot oil on low heat
- fry until crisp on low heat.
- crispy palak twisters are ready.
